Electronic Cigarettes, or e-cigarettes, e-cigs, electronic vaping devices, or AVPs are battery operated inhalation devices that simulate traditional cigarettes. This is achieved by atomising a liquid solution usually made up of nicotine, propylene glycol, and vegetable glycerin causing vapour to be emitted mimicking the smoke released from tobacco cigarettes. They are an alternative to traditional cigarettes without many of their side effects.

Atomizers, Cartomizers and Clearomizers are all forms of devices that connected to a battery or power supply and heat up e-Liquid to a certain temperature so that it becomes inhalable vapour. As the devices all have similarities with one another, it can be confusing for those trying to work out what is what. One is not necessarily better than the other, it really comes down to personal preference and in some cases skill and knowledge.
Electronic Cigarettes are devices that are basically made up of three elements: an atomizer, liquid delivery container system (containing liquid known as e-Juice or e-Liquid) and a power source. This post looks at the different elements of E-Cigs and also includes a video guide from PBusardo.
